PAYMENTS & RETURNS
How can I pay?
Our online store offers the flexibility of paying with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Apple Pay or Shopify Pay. We also accept POLi which allows you to pay directly from your bank account. POLI is owned and operated by Australia Post to be faster and more efficient than traditional bank transfer!
In Store we accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Eftpos! Best of all, we have no minimums!
What happens if I need to cancel my order?
If you cancel your order, a cancellation fee of fifty percent (50%) of your order total will be charged. This is to cover: admin costs incurred to administer your order, cost of goods including payments made in advance to suppliers, the cost of losing sales which may have been taken for your scheduled pickup/delivery date, staff wages and additional costs incurred with the production of your order. If your order contains a pre-payment, the pre-payment will be applied to cover the fifty percent (50%) order cancellation fee. You can view our Terms & Conditions

What happens if I need to alter my order?
We know things change from time to time, so please provide as much notice as possible and we will try our best to accomodate.
If requested, we will endeavour to adjust your order where possible. These requests may not be possible due to the notice period provided and/or nature of request. If the alterations incur additional cost to Cake Creations by Kate, you will be charged an alteration fee plus an additional margin as determined by Cake Creations by Kate. If you are unsure on your design, we suggest you do not confirm your order until you are satisfied to elevate additional charges. If you postpone, or wish to change the date of your pickup/delivery, your order may be subject to an alteration fee as determined by Cake Creations by Kate. How cheap is your shipping?
We do our best to keep costs down, so we are excited to offer $9.90 flat rate, unlimited shipping, Australia wide! If you spend more than $99, you qualify for free shipping! This applies to all of our non-perishable products online!
Do you offer delivery
We offer Melbourne delivery online! Pricing is based on the distance from our Flagship Point Cook Town Centre store. Simply select Local Delivery at checkout to receive a customised quote!
Do you offer vegan & gluten free mini cupcakes?
Absolutely we do! Our vegan & gluten free mini cupcakes are available in two flavours. 'CHOCOLATE COCONUT' or 'CHOCOLATE RASPBERRY' They do not contain any nuts, animal products/dairy and are gluten free. We do produce these mini cupcakes in the same kitchen as our other treats. Our head baker does everything possible to avoid cross-contamination.
Can I eat your cupcakes if I have a nut allergy?
Most of our cupcakes are nut free! Our suppliers do advise us that during production of many products, that they may contain traces of nuts. The only two cupcake flavours with added nuts are Nutella and Snickers. (Limited Edition Flavour Of The Week may contain nuts). We do our very best to avoid cross-contamination in our kitchen.
How fresh are your cupcakes?
Our mini cupcakes were judged by our customers as Melbourne's Best! We bake fresh daily in our Flagship Store located in Point Cook Town Centre. #AustralianMade
How long do cupcakes last?
We use the best quality ingredients to ensure our cupcakes are delicious until three days after purchase!
How should I store my cupcakes?
It's best to store cupcakes below 20 degrees. On warmer days, store your cupcakes in the fridge but be sure to let them come to room temperature before eating for the best taste!
Can I freeze my cupcakes?
For the best quality, we recommend eating your cupcakes fresh, however, you can store them in an airtight container in the freezer for up to one month. Be sure to completely defrost before indulging!
